Building + Construction

To support Google's biggest ever hardware launch - Pixel, Phone by Google - we were tasked with creating a retail experience custom built for the flagship Telstra stores in Sydney and Melbourne.

We wanted something visually impactful. Something interactive and exciting. We wanted to blow the socks off the busy bees passing by and leave them with a memorable experience of light and vision and the new Pixel phone.

It was as simple as painting by numbers:6 weeks from concept to execution, 2 walls designed, built and installed, 40,000 screws and nuts, 12,600 LEDs, Just under 12m long, All controlled by a custom app on a Pixel phone.

They say you can see the Great Wall of China from the moon. We're not sure if that's true, but we think if you squint real hard and look at these walls, they could look like the moon.

Grumpy Sailor operates on lands belonging to the Gadigal people of the Eora nation, and the Boon Wurrung and Woiwurrung (Wurundjeri) peoples of the Kulin nation.

We acknowledge these traditional owners and we pay our respects to leaders past, present and emerging.
